Back From Virginia

We got back from Virginia on Sunday, we went to celebrate an eary Christmas with them. I had so much fun but time flew away too quickly as I expected it would. Anna had fun too, she loved all the attention and toys she got. Here are some pics from pur visit. Andy would not let me post all of them because he didn't want anyone to see her Christmas dress she will be wearing to Wisconsin for the Van Brocklin family visit. A couple of the pics were when we got back. She is wearing the cute shirt her Aunt Megan got her.

Anna's First Thanksgiving

Here are some pictures of our first Thanksgiving with Anna, and my first Thanksgiving to actually cook. I am used to going to my mom's for Thanksgiving. I had alot of fun cooking but it was exhausting, especially the cleaning part. We had apple pie for desert, I do not want to step on the scale again at least for a few days.

What I am Thankful For

I am thankful for so many things, here is a list of a few of them:

1. My wonderful, sweet husband- He is the best father and husband anyone could ever ask for. He is always there for me and treats me with so much respect.
2. My beautiful daughter Anna- She is so, so sweet and innocent, she lights up every day for me and brings me so much joy.
3. My family- They are so loving and have been there for us so many times.
4. My In-Laws- They are also so loving and have been there for us many times.
5.Friends
6. The prosperity we have been blessed with.
7.The soldiers who fought the war of revolution for us which gave us our freedom.
8. Our health.
9. God for all he has given me
10. All the people in the world who still believe in common respect and integrity

My 6.5 Month Old

Anna is now 6.5 months old, I can not believe how fast she is growing up. She is such a joy to us, we look forward to the new things she learns and does everyday. So far she is rolling around like a log and grabbing everything in sight. She loves our cat Newton, she laughs every time she sees him, the problem is we have to keep an eye on her because she grabs his paws and fur a lot and I don't want him to get scared and hurt her.

She has been making alot of cute noises lately too, such as ba ba, ma ma ( I wish she was saying what it sounds like). She makes a lot of raspberries too. She loves eating solids, especially fruits. I make all her food except the meats, I have so much fun making her food.

Insomnia

This is my fourth night in a roll that I am contributing to my nasty sleep deficit. I have not been able to sleep uninterrupted for quite a while now, I think being a mom has made it much worse b/c I have to sleep a lot lighter to make sure all is well with my precious Anna. I have a hard time falling asleep and I usually wake up when Andy's alarm goes off or Anna wakes up and I have a really hard time relaxing myself back to sleep. I think a lot of it has to do with pressure I put on myself to go back to sleep because I know I have limited time because when Anna is up for the day that is it....no more sleep for the tired mama. I surprised myself today b/c I didn't think I would have the energy to work out but I did, it actually made me feel a little better.
